GENERAL ISSUE

We’re looking for a part-time production manager in New York City, NY! You’ll have an upstream focus in supply chain management and accounting, but with the intimacy of our team this position will also take on broader entrepreneurial responsibility.

Requirements:

• NYC

• Experience with production management

• Interest in accounting, sales forecasting and financing

• Simple formulas in Microsoft Excel that will grow into more rigorous databasing in the coming months

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Working knowledge of social, e-commerce and documentation platforms (Instagram, Shopify and Google Drive) 

• Organized, creative and detail-oriented

• Extras: Adobe Suite, fluent in Portuguese, market week experience

We're looking for a professional and trustworthy individual who shares our values and is available 3-5 days per week! Schedule will become more robust as the label develops and focus narrows.

Some of your future activities:

• Expense tracking

• Sales forecasting

• Product development communication and costing

• Communicating with vendors, press, stylists, etc.

• Nurturing relationships with factory and 3PL warehouse

• General organizational tasks

At this stage, every day is new and full of different responsibilities. Most are fun, but some are a bit more tedious. This is much more a business-based position (be that accounting, ops management or marketing) than design-based.
